Resurrection For 33 Men

I couldn’t help but think of this piece as the last of the miners and rescue workers came up to the skies and wind of a second life.

Truly a miricle.  Wasn’t it interesting that the President of Chile on every TV appearance made referrence to God and Jesus as their power to save them, and the miners all seemed to give God the glory.  So politically incorrect for our enlightened culture.
Just finished Captain Sullenberger’s book “Highest Duty”  on his piloting the USAir flight 1489 to the Hudson river sucesfully.  He observed that the public really loved these type of events because we so often saw that there was tragedy all around us, but this made us hope and realize that things did and could turn out 100% correctly.  Unfortunately in his book there was no acknowledgment of God.  A very interesting and enlightening book.

Also, how the music changed from that old whiney oriental minor tunes to the militant, martial, marching western type.  Only needed Sousa to do any better.
