Hey Stoopid, Look at this Shiny Piece of Junk

Exactly how stupid does the MSM think we are?  Evidently pretty stupid or easily distracted, your pick.

Here are the various headliners that greeted me this morning on the various newsites:

ABC News:  Missinig IPAD Tracked

CBS News:  Romney Tries Image Makeover

NBC News:  NFL Confirms Deal With NFLRA

Huffington Post:  Obama Ad:  new Economic Patriotism

Fox News:  US Officials Knew Libya Attack was Terrorism Within 24 hours

Wonder why the MSM is dying?  It MIGHT be, must maybe, do you think, possibly in the TANK for the left?  Do you think if this had happened on either of the Bushs’ or Reagan watch that they would be into extra copies with break in to programming mode to scream this to the world?  While Fox News seems to be sliding to the left, you have to give them credit for actually reporting the news.

I don’t care what side of the political divide you reside you should be in an outrage over the attack on our embassies, the death of Americans, especially our Ambassador.  The sentence that the future does not belong to those who defame the Prophet should have sent you over the edge.  Debate is a needed and necessary thing in this country.  It sure would be nice if MSM decided that the way to save their dying selves was to ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOB and provide ACTUAL information to the masses and TRUST THEM TO HAVE A BRAIN IN THEIR HEADS.

But that may just be me.

The president neglects national security, his state department fails to utilize intelligence to protect their staff, including an ambassador, and his PR apparatus spends a week assuring us it was NOT TERRORISM!!!  It was all a spontaneous demonstration against an offensive movie that got out of hand. Incompetence and cover-up are what large entities like governments do.

But where is the media? Our watchdogs? Independent and honest?

I’ve been saying for awhile that if the Romney wins, it will spell the end of relevance for the old-stream media. They have been actively campaigning for Obama, and it worked in 2008.  It might work this time;  although we have never elected a president in an economy like this, the numbers are close.

Not to speak, is to speak.  And so the MSM speak volumes by what they do not say.  And it is great.  Their product was never ever really that good, they just had a monopoly which propped them up for far too long.  The internet gives us an abundance of choices that were unheard of 20 years ago.  YouTube presents video choices of an astounding variety.  And then there is Glenn Beck’s experiment of creating a whole media empire based on the thought “that the truth has no agenda”.

I hope the MSM double down on what they are doing and keep on doing it.  That way there will truly be nothing to miss when they are finally gone.

It was DISGUSTING how they attacked Romney when he gave a press conference the day of the Embassy attack.  It was obvious they all had an “agenda” and asked questions is such a way as to try to trap Romney, to further the story they had already decided they would print.  Romney was VERY Presidential, and was VERY clear about his foreign policy principles.

And how did Obama fare with the press that day?  Well, once again he made his statement and walked away.  Disgusting.  Shameful.  Cowardly.
