Those Pesky Deep Seated Cultural Codes and Religious Beliefs

Unfortunately, this will likely not be a shock

Last April, Clinton infamously declared that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed” in order to make way for abortion and other forms of “reproductive health care.” These remarks, given at the sixth annual Women in the World Summit, are fully in keeping not only with other denigrating speeches she has given about religious beliefs, but even with her colleagues’ political work behind the scenes, as recently revealed by WikiLeaks.

For years, Clinton and her associates have demonstrated a contempt for traditional religious beliefs and an insidious effort to change them by whatever means necessary.

One such effort was revealed by WikiLeaks. In an email from February 2012, Sandy Newman, president and founder of the progressive nonprofit Voices for Progress, wrote to John Podesta (now Clinton’s campaign chairman) that “there needs to be a Catholic Spring [like the Arab Spring], in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the Catholic Church.”

if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Gasp!  How can this be?  I keep reading on the UMC web site and seeing comments from UMC clergy on blogs that they are so proud of Hillary because she is a good Methodist doing such good things.  Oh well, what’s the harm in a little Pelagianism among friends.

Forgotten in all of the scandals is the the session with Jean Houston at the White House at which the two women channeled Eleanor Roosevelt.  Hillary said it was just like the Methodist Church, which unfortunately may be true.

Aw c’mon, she just wants to convert Roman Catholics to her brand of liberal Methodism. She is on a mission from the god of doomed mainline liberal Protestantism.

Please correct your title: Regilious should be Religious.

They’ll change the beliefs by making disagreement illegal, and taking away the freedoms and livelihoods of dissenters.  And as it looks now, a plurality of our fellow citizens (and some others) are about to vote in favor of the new secular inquisition.

Remember that the words “homophobe” and “homophobic” when used by the Left are code for Christians and Christianity.  In using the word before a gay audience Hillary put Christians right in the Basket of Deplorables.

The fact of the matter is that we must update our beliefs and valuesw with the times according to the love of Christ rather than the laws of man. We so easily want to and are prone to hate anything unlike ourselves u, til we are getting to a place where we are willing to cut off our noses to spite our faces or throw the baby out with the bath water. My own diocese, here in Carmel Valley will be having its annual conference this weekend. One matter I hope to see addressed is that of the HOLY COMMUNION. At present we term this most Holy time as open to all. I really think our House of Bishops and Delegates need to reevaluate its position on this matter and bring it into alignment with the Holy Spirit’s guidance found in First Corinthians chapters 10 and 11. Our Priests (Rectors) need to realize and accept a level of responsibility which is briefly spoken of in the Scriptures ( get back to you with Chapter and verse). As it stands , with what we in our striving to be most compassionate, we are causing people to believe that they may approach God without having to give an account for their actions. This is a most dangerous point of view. Our clergy must understand that what they do or not do directly affects the state and condition of their herds and flocks ” Fish stink from the Head first. is true. (this old Italian proverb has double meaning.) Be aware and beware of the spirit of Cain at work in your congregations
